    The temporary panel operates in a similar manner to a file panel
and is designed to facilitate grouping files from different folders
and processing them as a single group.

   To put files to the temporary panel, you can use one of the
following ways:

  - copy files or directories from a file or tree panel to the temporary
    panel;

  - open a ~list file~@List@ by pressing Enter or Ctrl-PgDn on it
    or by entering its name in the ~command line~@CMD@;

  - send the list of the files found by the ~Find files~@:FindFile@ command
    to the temporary panel. In order to do this, you should click
    the "#Panel#" button in the dialog with the list of found files.

   Files being put to the temporary panel are not copied physically,
only references to them are created. All operations that you perform
on the temporary panel are applied to the real files at their actual
locations. For example, if you delete a file on the temporary panel,
the file is actually deleted from the disk.

   To remove selected file names from the temporary
panel without deleting actual files, you can press #F7#.

   Press #Ctrl-PgUp# to close the temporary panel and go to the file
under the cursor.

   #Alt-Shift-F3# on an element:

   - if folder - shows its contents in the passive panel.
   - if file - positions the cursor on this file in the
     passive panel.

   If the option #"Use common panel"# in the plugin ~configuration~@Config@
dialog is enabled, the plugin creates 10 temporary panel instances, and
each of them contains a separate file list. To switch between panels,
you can use a menu (#Alt-Shift-F12#) or hotkeys for immediate switching
(#Alt-Shift-0# to #Alt-Shift-9#).

   To save the current contents of the panel to a list file, you
can use the hotkey #Alt-Shift-F2#.

   In this dialog you may change the following options:

 #Add to disks menu#
   Enables adding the "Temporary" item to the disks menu.

 #Disks menu hotkey#
   Hotkey for the temporary panel item in the disks menu.
You can enter a value from 1 to 9 or leave this field empty if
you prefer the hotkey to be assigned automatically.

 #Add to plugins menu#
   Enables adding the "Temporary" item to the plugins menu.

 #Use common panel#
   When enabled, a common temporary panel is created and its contents is
stored even after closing the panel. When this option is not enabled,
each new temporary panel will be created empty.
   If the option #"Use common panel"# is enabled, 10 instances of
the temporary panel are created. You can switch between them by pressing
#Alt-Shift-F12# (to show a menu) or hotkeys from #Alt-Shift-0# to
#Alt-Shift-9# (to switch to a panel directly).

 #Safe panel mode# : ~+safe~@CMD@
   In the safe panel mode, all operations on panel elements (copying,
moving, deleting etc.) are disabled. The only available operations are:

   - changing to a directory;
   - copying elements that are not real files/paths to the command
     line (if the option #"Any elements in panel"# is enabled).

   The safe mode is marked in the panel title with the (R) character.

 #Any elements in panel# : ~+any~@CMD@
   If this option is enabled, the plugin will not check for path
validity before putting an element to a panel.
   It becomes possible to use panel elements like:
   #ftp:#
   #ftp:my_favorite_ftp#
   #reg:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software#
   #copy d:\work\tmppanel d:\work\tmppanel\backup /y#
   #format a:#
   and so on.

   For example, it is possible to use this option to sort the lines
in a text file:
   #tmp:+any +full <type filename.ext#
   Then you press #Ctrl-F3# in the panel to sort the lines, and then
#Ctrl-Gray* Ctrl-Ins# to copy the lines to the Windows clipboard, or
#Alt-Shift-F2# to save the lines to a file.

   When #Enter# is pressed on an element that is not a real file name,
its text will be copied to the FAR command line.

 #Copy folders contents#
   When copying folders to the temporary panel, controls whether
files are also copied to the panel. If set to the undefined state
(#[?]#), a prompt is shown when folders are copied to the panel.

 #Replace files with file list# : ~+replace~@CMD@
   If this option is checked, then, when doing a file list operation,
the names in the file list will replace the file names already in the
panel. Otherwise the filenames will be added to the existing ones.

 #Menu from file list# : ~+menu~@CMD@
   When a list file is opened, its contents will not be put to a panel,
but instead shown in a menu. Pressing #Enter# on a menu item either
jumps to the corresponding directory (if one exists), or copies the
item text to the FAR command line. The menu caption is equal to the
list file without an extension.
   Each line in the list file can start with #|<string>|#. In this
case, the part of the line between the first and the second delimiter
(#|#) will be shown in the menu, and the part after the second
delimiter will be executed when the item is selected.

   #|-|# is a separator and will be shown as a horizontal line in
the menu.

 #New panel for search results#
   This option works when #"Use common panel"# is enabled and allows
to put the search results (Alt-F7 -> Panel) to a free temporary panel.
This allows to save the results of multiple search operations and work
with them at the same time.

 #[ ] Full screen mode# : ~+full~@CMD@
   These options allow to change the mode of displaying elements in the
panel.

   ~Masks~@:FileMasks@ for the files that should be interpreted as
~file lists~@List@.

 #Command line prefix#
   Specifies the prefix for opening the temporary panel from the command
line and for ~file list operations~@List@.

   The temporary panel can read a list of filenames from a list file.

   Each line in the list file must contain
     - either an existing file or directory (C:\Windows)
     - or a drive letter (C:)
     - or the name of a network resource (\\Server\Music)

   If the option #"Any elements in panel#" in the
~configuration dialog@Config@ is not enabled, lines not matching any
of the conditions mentioned above are not added to the panel. If the
option is enabled, the list file can contain arbitrary lines - all of
them will be shown in the panel.

   Names of files and directories in the list file can contain
environment variables (%WINDIR%\System).

   List file example:
     #c:#
     #d:#
     #d:\Games\Quake3#
     #\\server\c$#
     #\\server\music#
     #%ProgramFiles%#
     #%HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%\Desktop#
   If the option "Any elements in panel" is enabled, the list file
can also contain such lines:

     #ftp:ftp.cdrom.com#
     #reg:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software#
     #dir#

   There are two ways to process the list file:

   a) Press #Enter# or #Ctrl-PgDn# when the cursor is on such a file.
      The file must match one of the file masks for file lists specified
in the configuration dialog, and it must be in the OEM codepage.

   b) Enter #tmp:"list file name"# in the ~command line~@CMD@.
      If the list file name does not contain a path, the plugin will
attempt to locate it in the following directories and in the following
sequence:
      1. The current directory
      2. In the plugin directory.
      3. In #%FARHOME%#.
      4. The directories that are listed in the #%PATH%# environment variable.

   The command line prefix used for file list operations (in the examples
given above - #tmp:#) can be set in the configuration dialog.
