The X part is muted by the index finger of the fretting hand and slid
between the 3rd and 6th frets.

According to the latest So What!, Billy Corrigan showed up with the guys
from Q Prime (both bands managements) to this show and James played this
riff.  According to the magazine, the croud wasn't too into the song.
Personally, I like it.
