During the project different directions are developed:
Web actions:
Establishment of relationship between French and Russian artists and scientists.
The PSI RAS and CYPRES research centre (France) made a common research along 
two lines:
- information exchange and telecommunication stage production via the
Internet (IMUTE performance of 26 September, 1997)
- network art actions (RAT conference, 27-28 October, 1997)

Web-resources:
Vent d'Est eastern media-art collection 
The "Vent d'Est" collection proposes a catalogue including almost 120
audiovisual titles: video art, archives of action, fiction, documentaries,
music clips, mixs. That catalogue is unique. It is composed by old (from the
very beginning of Eastern video-art) and the last creations including 100
artists of the "new generation". More than 75 video clips linked. There is
calling for the participation of artists whose work fully exploits the
possibilities and constraints of the Internet.

Repweb - The use of repertory grids in collaborative creative activity
The research involved Russian and French students and professional experts.
By way of elements we took several videos from the Gallery of modern Russian
video-art and several web-sites from the hypertext of Annick Bureaud.  A user
was asked to classify videos or web-sites, giving each a description in the
terms (constructs) of his/her choice, and ranging the videos relative to
every single construct. Fragments of all videos or web-sites were available
to the user.
It is supposed that every time, a method can be offered to a user which
would let him/her see the films from a different prospective, and thus
produce a different classification of the same videos. Running this
procedure several times yields a collection of "rods" that is in real use by
people. The collection is available for reviewing.
