Water plants In the underbrush of the lake grow 84 types of plants, two of which are spore-baring and one of which is water-growing. The most plentiful families of water plants are Cyperaceae (12 species), Gramineae (10 species), Potamogetonaceae (6 species), and Polygonaceae (5 species).
